SKILL LEVELS
BEGINNER: You have little to no experience in making clothes. You are a beginner in every sense of the word.
CONFIDENT BEGINNER: You have completed a few simple projects involving fabric, patterns, and a sewing machine.
INTERMEDIATE: You have made some sewing projects and are starting to feel confident when making simple items. You are eager to learn how to sew moderately difficult details, such as collars and collar stands, darts, and in-seam pockets.
CONFIDENT: You have made several sewing projects and feel confident making most garments. You possess the skill set for creating various details, such as welted back pockets and tailored front pockets for pants, as well as vents and cuffs for shirts.
EXPERT: You have made a lot of clothes and know you can create the most elaborate garments with excellent results. You have a skill set comparable to that of a tailor and are accustomed to making garments with a lot of detail, linings, and intricate finishes.
